She finds her way

The water finds her way alone,
She carves a path through ancient stone,
Along the mountain’s jagged side,
Within the river’s steady stride.

She weaves through forests, deep and wide,
Where ancient trees in silence bide,
She glides through cities vast and tall,
Their roaring heart, she hears it all.

And in the desert, bare and dry,
Beneath the blazing, breathless sky,
She gently rests, a quiet guest,
Within a cactus, still and blessed

Sometimes she rises up in the clouds
To then fall straight back to the ground
In this way our emotions may dance
For we, too, are never fixed, but change

So we, too, should learn to trust the flow,
To move where only soul can know
For even when the path is blurred,
We move like her—by heart, not word
